The
Future Movement believes in the need to re-vitalize the
education sector and puts plans to develop the education
sector at the top of our list of national priorities. It
believes that the state must be responsible for enhancing
public education at all levels and in sectors so it can
assume its role in:
Developing
national education, enhancing the spirit of national
accord and consolidating a sense of co-existence among
citizens.
Radically
enhancing the standard of education in order to bridge
the gap that resulted from the war in Lebanon, to keep
abreast of new scientific and technological
developments.
Competing
with the private sector and thus serving all social
classes.
Emphasizing
a policy of educational guidance.
Adopting
a policy to support and train distinguished specialists,
mainly in the domains of modern technology.
Keeping
track of scientific developments in the world,
encouraging scientific research and rewarding creative
intellectuals and writers.
Cooperating
with various productive sectors in Lebanon through
coordination between education, the job market and the
needs of the society.
Consolidating
democracy, freedoms, the rule of law and the
independence of the judiciary, and developing the
foundations of justice in the state.
